Oscar B. De Alessi is a visual artist, writer and actor currently living in Paris. Born in Italy, O.B. graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design and later from Central Saint Martins.
Exhibitions include NOVA NIGHTS #10: O.B. De Alessi presents Kuo’s Eyes and Other Visions of Darkness at The Horse Hospital, London, an event hosted and curated by Billy Chainsaw and The Primal Shelter Is Site For Primal Fears at The Living Art Museum in Reykjavik. Kuo’s Eyes, O.B.’s first short film, premiered in 2017 at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. As well as acting in his own films and performances, Oscar was also seen in Dennis Cooper and Zac Farley’s Like Cattle Towards Glow (2015) and Permanent Green Light (2018).
Oscar’s second short film, MUDMONSTER, was awarded Best International Short Film Director and Best Lovecraft Inspired Film at A Night Of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.
O.B. published two limited edition zines with Kiddiepunk (France) and collaborated as an illustrator with Filthy Loot, DieDieBooks, Rebel Satori Press, La Bella Varsovia and Paolo Sorba Editore, among others.
